Mexico Nuevo Siglo 
In 1998 México Siglo XX (Mexico – Twentieth Century) arose and in 2001 it changed its name to México Nuevo Siglo (New-Century Mexico). From its first program, the series captivated spectators of all different backgrounds and social classes; for the first time on Mexican television, spectators saw documentaries that approached history and key actors of Mexico’s reality in a critical way.
The series has received various national awards and its documentaries have become an indispensable source for consultation in schools, universities and public lectures.
The objective of México Nuevo Siglo is to invite spectators to reflect on the issues through the use of amazing images, texts and testimonies that, combined with attractive visuals, engage the spectator’s thoughts and emotions.
The different characters of history and politics, social and economic issues, the arts, media, directors, actors and singers from the world of show business, bullfighting and sports: all of these represent the issues that concern us. The programs thus come to form a series of recovered memories, as well as the history of the present and the production memories for Mexico’s future.
